low income needs low cost vehicle

Dylansmommy07 started this conversation

I am a new mommy to a beautiful 3mo old baby boy. And a single mother at that. I am permantly disabled due to spinal injury 5years ago. But with the help of 2 surgerys and pain management regimens I have reclaimed parts of my life again. Including having my son.

But because of this I am on disability, giving me a very low income. And my reason to post is this..

I am in need of a low cost, reliable vehicle. Preferably one with a back seat, good shape and safe. I currently have a little 2seater dodge dakota that has broke down, and not worth the cost to fix it even if I had that money. I need a realiable and safe vehicle for transportation to and from doctors appointments (several monthly) state and SSI appointments, grocery shopping, personal need shopping and all around misc errands. I am willing to either pay up to $500.00 for a vehicle, or make payment arrangements of $100/mo. for however long (preferably under 15months/$1500.00)

So if you are anyone you know are able to help with this, myself and my son would be eternally grateful. I am not looking for a handout just an opportunity to increase or quality of life.

Thank you for your time, consideration and help

Sincerely,

  Jennifer and Dylan

Why don't you check the Penny pincher for a car ad-sometimes you can fond deals. Alos. check wiht your local car dealership to find if they could help or at least provide a referral. Keep God first and try not to give up-keep on praying and keep the faith.

Just an update .... Dylan is now 10 1/2months old. And we are in need of a working vehicle now more than ever. Living on a fixed income with only disabilty as our only source is very restricting, frusterating, and hard. I do not know where else or to who else to turn.

Thank you!
